The July 2009 Champion

The July 2009 Top Twitter Background Challenge Champion
AdrianApan
Name: Adrian Apan
Followers: 987 Following: 874
Location: Romania
Website: www.adrian-apan.com
Bio: Web designer/developer. I love open source, poker, a good cup of coffee and oriental foods. For more just ask me.

AdrianApan took the first place prize because of a very clean design but mostly because of his self branding. Branding himself is what I really liked about this design and it was a huge factor in him winning. Did he have the best design in this competition? I think he had a Top10 design. I would have to pick our 3rd place finisher blizz845 with the best design, but AdrianApan put his over the top because of Branding himself. We at www.WhosBig.com are a branding company and we look at these things closely. Great job champ. Well deserved!

OK The 2nd Place Finisher Is

First off, Next month's backgrounds you got to bring it to receive it. Tweek your backgrounds if you are already a follower. If you think you got it, you better show it. For all the new followers, you will be nominated as you follow me. For the other followers, I will be visiting all your sites again to see if you even deserve to be on the short list. Any ties when we do the voting will be broken by whoever followed us first. This will happen the week of the 8-13 to 8-20. Basically the last week before nominations close. The month of July was judged for branding and design with more emphasis on branding. We know, we never told you. This next month we will. Next month criteria is straight up unique design. If we see a great design, and have another follower with the same background, your background will probably not make the cut. All right now for business.
